For anyone looking for further updates for this project, I have forked and am currently mainitaining @calumk/codecup

The fork offers

Async language loading for prism.js (all languages supported)
Slightly different styling
oggle / show / hide line numbers function
readonly mode / toggle function
copy code button

There is also an Editor.js plugin, built on the fork. https://github.com/calumk/editorjs-codecup
