Luke,
for the NACM- is the tailored lighting illumination height a user input? The
ACM document specifies it to be so but I cannot find it on the UI

Hi Supria,
I'm on the road today and tomorrow, so I'll keep it short...
In order to use a user input (instead of the ceiling height, which is the
default), you need to utilize the interior lighting system input
methodology. The input for luminaire height, as well as other detailed
inputs ( PAFs, allowances, etc) are at the interior lighting system screen.

A) the application of room geometry adjustment isn't automatic. A user would
need to specify if a space qualifies for it.
B) Work plane height and mounting height need to be user inputs (shown if a
user states that a space qualifies for RCR adjustment)
Couple of questions-
1. Luminaire types at present are very restricted- how would a user specify
LED/HID etc. luminaire types?
Are there any plans for adding additional types for lighting?
2. User input for RCR eligibility, work plane height and mounting height should
also be added for LPD input for spaces.

Question 1:
The current list of luminaire types (v3) is:
LinearFluorescent
CFL
Incandescent
LED
MetalHalide
MercuryVapor
HighPressureSodium
Are there additional lighting types that you would prefer to add (these are
fairly easy to add).
Question 2:
We should probably review the approach for providing lighting inputs before
identifying a final solution...

Based on discussion with Luke, we'll go ahead and add capability for room
geometry adjustment (check box to ask a user is the space is eligible as well
as user input for mounting height and work plane height) and all additional
controls in the ILS screen.
For a user specifying lighting input through LPD input, these additional
credits wouldn't be available.
The capability to specify input for additional lighting allowance as well as
room geometry adjustment will be added to the LPD input in Phase II
For all mandatory controls, we'll follow the Title-24 approach where it is
assumed that the lighting schedules reflect the presence of all mandatory
controls.
