We're having issues with the city accepting the resulting performance analysis 
report.

One common issue:
HERS Verification and Special Features with the tab of "TBD" - they are all 
expecting and anticipating these special items to also be included in the 
report.

Also, some are still asking for the prescriptive forms - do we still need to 
fill those out or are is the 6 page report enough?

CBECC-Com currently does not model any HERS related features – this is why 
the report shows TBD. As for compliance report we have recently implemented a 
new Performance Compliance Report – this will be generated using CBECC-Com 
v3b-beta and v3b (soon to be released). The intent of the newly redesigned 
performance report is that hopefully it will provide adequate information for 
the building officials for permitting, though it may or may not fully eliminate 
the need for prescriptive forms since that is dependent on every building 
departments requirements. If the city is asking for prescriptive forms those 
will need to be provided by the team separately as CBECC-Com does not support 
prescriptive compliance.

As for the question; is the performance report is enough for compliance that is 
something you may need to check/clarify that with the city and/or CEC Hotline. 
Historically building departments have requested those forms to provide more 
backup for the applicable systems/features being modeled/incorporated in the 
project.
