CBECC-Com Issue - Project/Site Information #920

My project is Envelope alteration and new lighting (no new conditioned space, 
and existing HVAC system)

I don’t find any scope that address this need. Existing Alteration/Addition 
will require HVAC inputs.

There is not a direct solution to your problem. Due to resource limitations, 
CBECC-Com currently does not support a compliance type that applies to your 
project. That said  the situation you describe can be modelled with the  
ExistingAlteration compliance option. Build the model and then change the 
Envelope and Lighting status at each space to Altered and New respectively. The 
HVAC will have to be built with status Existing. For compliance analysis the 
software will treat  the Baseline HVAC system same as proposed and apply 
appropriate rules for the Envelope and Lighting systems.
