Spandrel Panel #954

I have a building that has spandrel panels on the exterior, but when I put this
in CBECC-Com it throws the following error:

It seems to be comparing the spandrel to the wood frame/other requirement in
120.7 but should it not be comparing it to the spandrel panels/glass curtain
wall requirement of a U-value of 0.28? Or have I not entered it correctly in
CBECC-Com?

Are there going to be help files coming out for CBECC-Com to help guide the
user on how to input data? Moreover, will there be a file showing how inputs in
CBECC-Com maps to .idf files so we understand how the input will affect the
control of the HVAC systems? Is there anywhere I can find info on how the fixed
dual setpoint control varies from the scheduled dual setpoint control for the
condenser water loop?

You are correct, there is a bug in the software. I will correct the mandatory
insulation checks for Spandrel panels for v3b, due to be released at the end of
March.

Unfortunately, documentation and help file development has not been a priority
for the development due to CEC funding priorities. We are slowly adding
material to the FAQ pages at http://bees.archenergy.com/faq.html, but these are
admittedly limited. There are no plans for CEC to provide a mapping to idf,
and this mapping is actually quite complicated in many situations.

Scheduled dual setpoint varies from fixed dual setpoint in that you can define
schedules that vary the heating and cooling setpoints over the year. For fixed
dual setpoint, the specified temperatures are used throughout the simulation.
