I have noticed that the baseline is not being generated per the Title24 NR ACM
and I was wondering if it was perhaps my assignment of statuses that is doing
this. We have a 95,000 sqft building with a roughly 1,000 sqft addition being
added to it. This addition is essentially a glass box and so the proposed model
has nearly 100% glazing, but the baseline model for the addition should have
its glazing limited per the ACM – I confirmed that the baseline WWR should be
calculated against just the addition and not the building as a whole. However,
the baseline model matches the glazing of my proposed model exactly and my
building is being compared to a baseline that is performing differently (and
probably worse) than it should according to the ACM. Is there a work around I
can use for this? Can I manually adjust the baseline .idf and submit an
exceptional compliance report saying that I had to adjust the baseline so it
meets the ACM? Or is my assignment of status incorrect and causing this issue?
