Currently, if you clone a repository using the repository drop-down menu, it will just clone to the VisualGit folder. It would be nice if you can choose where your cloned repository will appear or have a separate folder for your cloned repositories.
Being able to choose where to clone your repo also avoids this error message from popping up.
I believe that this is a very-small issue, small at most.
