[BUG] Cannot open local repository from main page #254

Describe the bug Cannot open a local repository from the main page of VisualGit.

To reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Login to VisualGit
  2. Click on the "Open Local" tab
  3. Click "Browse and Open" to select an existing repository
  4. The local repository does not open

Expected behavior / Acceptance criteria When selecting a local repository to open, the selected repository should open successfully. Previously this has been shown by a dialog box showing to say that it has been successful and a redirect to the page with the graph and diff panel.

Additional context Opening a recent repository works so the functionality to open a local repository works.

Was able to reproduce this on Windows 10. Approved

Approved, this has been happening to me very recently and needs to be fixed ASAP

Approved - was able to reproduce on Windows 10. Should an urgent label be added?
