Open directory dialog has square characters in ubuntu 18.04 #108

Expected behaviour:

Actual behaviour:

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Start VisualGit on Ubuntu 18.04
  2. Login (or continue without logging in)
  3. Open the directory picker by clicking the "open" button next to the Location of existing repository field

Additional information:
This can be fixed by upgrading the electron version, but it would need to be a version that will also work with nodegit
