Delete kafka-support branch #29

The current state of kafka-support branch is that it contains some slides and pdfs in related work. We might want to keep them, but everything else is obsolete and can be easily removed, since Kafka support can be enabled by using the profile kafka in the current pom.xml.

Sorry, these publications are already in the master branch. I think we can remove this branch. @mackaiver
