let user recale if larger, as it does not harm #37

Added this in, since I use a large font, and the rowheight math wants me at 33, but after tinkering, I personally found it looks better with 40, so I think if it doesn't do any harm, the preference value should be respected over the arithmetic.

I also added transport spacing to the transport menu. Hope that wasn't too forward :)
