Some feedback for your assignment:

Text and images are way too large when viewed from a desktop screen.
Implement geolocation.
Skip button is much larger when in multiple-choice mode.
Remove app name as an input and use a constant (e.g. "vintage_app").
Make sure all text is easily readable.
Display the score when answering questions.
Move "leaderboard" text above the leaderboard entries.
Allow treasure hunts to be continued if left unfinished (make use of cookies).
