TLDR: yeah email will work fine probably. although I'm not sure how much use it would get in practice (something we'd have to see).
I'm just thinking, we kind of have to find something that's relatively universal regardless of our user types. Something that's common between a student, and every day casual user, and a professional user. Or we add the ability to further explore those specific areas at the end like we talked about before.
But ideally it's Something that captivates them, something that makes them realize how AI can assist them in any part of their digital life through Typeahead. It's a new way of working, a new way of searching, a new way of everything (eventually probably) but you get my point.
I want people to have that switch click in their head when they see what Typeahead can do, the same way it did for us. That feeling when it flips - that initial revelation, the exhilarating feeling of discovery, that sudden flood of immense possibilities, the feeling of power when you realize what you can now do -that's what I want to instill into the onboarding. I know that sounds somewhat ridiculous to hope to achieve, but I want to get as close to that as possible while also easily teaching them the ropes.
How we do that? I don't know yet. But in the meantime, for the purposes of a workable demo, email will work fine I think.
Since the smart-copy now triggers the suggestion, we should use a different example in the onboarding.
Maybe we can just start with the email example?
