Level all BMP Inspection forms for Fall 2019 #402

I will configure the surveys in the latest release of Survey123 and testing in the latest version for windows and iOS/iPad OS.

The downloads are available at: https://www.esri.com/en-us/arcgis/products/survey123/resources

This major update includes polygon and line support (N/A for this task) and some other tweaks that'd be good to include.

@talllguy any movement on this? BMP inspections will likely start in ~2 weeks. There hasn't been any official word from SHA yet, but I think that is a safe bet.

@talllguy the KCI_1 form is updated in the NPDES Survey123 Data Transfer OneDrive folder you set up. Please take a look and let me know. I'm going to start moving forward with the other forms.

Looks like the best option is to make a new view. It only takes about 6 minutes.

  1. create the view
  2. set the definition to filter on firm name
  3. settings: editing on, protect from delete
  4. share with the right group(s)
  5. copy the feature service url on the overview tab
  6. in Survey123 paste the URL in the submission URL tab
  7. publish, should work

@talllguy Any update on this? We met with firms last week but haven't heard about any of them starting inspections yet.

@KCI-Ablowers now that the master BMP inspection layer is transferred to the shared account, please proceed with making the new views using the steps I laid out in https://github.com/kcigeospatial/MDOT-SHA-NPDES-Next-Gen/issues/402#issuecomment-557367168

Updated Survey123 Form Update Procedures

12/13/2019 Guide to updating Survey123 forms from owner=Elliott to owner=SHA DGD.

  1. login to AGOL as SHA DGD
  2. find the master inspection layer
  3. create new view with firm name
  4. set the definition to filter features on firm name in the Visualization tab
  5. go to Settings tab: editing on, protect from delete
  6. share with the firm group(s)
  7. copy the feature service url on the overview tab (very bottom right)
  8. open Survey123 connect and sign in as SHA DGD
  9. open the copy of the firm form
  10. paste that submission URL in the submission URL field on the settings tab in excel
  11. add media items to media folder (e.g. invasive photos)
  12. update settings on Settings tab in connect (see below section A)
  13. publish (update the options to uncheck the web map, lest it create a pointless extra web map)
  14. share new form, owned by SHA DGD to firm group
  15. copy ID of new shared form (its the GUID in the URL bar when you go to the item on AGOL)
  16. update firm web map popup to include the form ID
  17. also do the updates per #425
  18. save the web map
  19. test in collector that the proper survey opens

Finished with the updates. KCI_2 is now referred to as "Prod Testing" or "Production Testing".
