Metadata domain mismatch between inventory feature services #412

Background

WBCM is working on inventory QC comments and experiencing issues with the metadata domain not showing their most recent entries.

Issue

WBCM is missing the most recent metadata records in their Inventory FS. The records are present in the KCI_1 feature service.

@KCI-Ablowers, that would appear if their map service never restarted after the domain refresh, which happened a week ago. We can manually reset their map service, but I would first confirm that they are not actively editing anything before doing so. If the domains still don't show up after that, then it may be something to do with the service definition.

Also, @talllguy, all the services are set to restart nightly, right?

@johnshiu Would you be able to restart all of the services manually this evening if @talllguy doesn't have them restarting automatically? I believe most firms are actively working on inventory updates.

@KCI-Ablowers, the services have been rebooted. Please let me know if there are any other issues.

Just wanted to mention that the services do "recycle" every night around midnight but that this action doesn't seem to refresh the domains. For that we've got to login to the server and restart the service.

@talllguy Didn't we refresh the domains automatically using the method before the upgrade? It's in the SOPs that way I think.

Hmm, perhaps the nightly recycle does update the domains then. I got the impression from this thread that it didn't.

I think John was wondering if the automatic refresh is actually occurring.
