Items appearing to the right of the line in 10.15.3 #91

I just updated to 10.15.3, and I didn't have this issue on 10.15.1 - but when I add items to the dock, they appear as ? to the right of the line that separates apps from folders.

These are apps in the standard applications folder (not the /System/Applications folder)

I even tried specifying --position 1, and they appear in position 1 to the right of the vertical line. Screen Shot 2020-02-19 at 5 04 57 PM
