Key Sorting By RP Feature #47

Hey Cristian, you are amazing! I'm sure there are many people that are grateful
for the ratings preview, which is a helpful signal to the quality of most
videos. This is my first comment for any chrome extensions, and most of the
Web. So this is highly important. I had this installed for a long time as well.
1) When you filter youtube videos, such as TED videos, by a year ago, is there
a way to sort by RP score? For someone that doesn't know programming, is there
a guide or link to help make that? 2) The RP score for videos with less views
is far too low, and for videos with excessive views is far too high. The % that
likes the video is a much clearer signal, and should have much more weight.
Please consider adjusting the RP score, or at least give options so we can
adjust the weighting. If there is a good guide out there for this key feature,
please let me know. Thanks again, Cristian. ~ Key Sorting By RP Feature ~

Hey,

The RP score is only informational and cannot be used to sort, because that
would essentially require making a search engine and/or modify the order of the
items dynamically, which would be tricky to do.

What you can always do is sort videos by "Most popular" or "Rating" on YouTube,
which will probably give more weight to the % of likes. RP score values other
things to make the rating more aggressive, so that there are lower and higher
ratings, but the views score is about 10% of the final score, so no that much
really.

Thanks,
Cristian
