In the past, I've viewed indomethacin as "just another NSAID for gout pain relief". With the most interesting feature being its position as the most-prescribed anti-inflammatory for gout. But that in itself makes me more interested in indomethacin when I consider how it makes it a popular choice for comparisons in gout pain relief studies.

However, what is most important to gout sufferers is:

• The latest professional guidelines recommendations regarding indomethacin.
• Recent research into indomethacin XOI (Xanthine Oxidase Inhibitor) properties.

So I've created a project map to categorize the latest gout research into:

• Guideline recommendations
• Pain drug comparisons
• Non-drug pain comparisons
• XOI effects Also, I'm mapping common indomethacin & gout concerns.

Ultimately, this means I'll move content to a new Indomethacin Section to make it easier to resolve common concerns. By linking them to relevant facts. In the meantime, I'll add my findings to the progress notes for this page.
