Responsiveness of GoogleAnalytics to record downloads is sluggish #213

@dondi, as we discussed yesterday, I checked whether the download counter had updated on the Downloads page to record the downloads I made yesterday and the day before and it hasn't. In particular, if you look at the counter underneath the button for the v1.4.4 executable, it says it hasn't been downloaded at all and I've done it at least twice in the last few days.

The download counters have not updated since the last comment a week ago, so they seem to be broken somehow.

Upon checking this, counts do seem to be showing up again. They are likely lower than they really should be, but for whatever reason they are appearing once more. We can discuss/explore this when we meet. No code is known to have changed.

@kdahlquist is going to make it a point to download once a day so we can see the downloads on the GoogleAnalytics page. We will take a look again in a few weeks to see if we can figure out what is going on.

Just remembered to download code/executable as per my previous comment. The Download counter for v1.4.4 executable is at "6" which is more than yesterday, I think. I'm going to go through and download everything at least once and check back again tomorrow.

Did my daily download of all code and executables from the Downloads page. Curiously, the download counter advanced for source code versions:

However, none of the other versions updated from the numbers they had at this time yesterday.

This might be specific to @kdahlquist's computer, since we noticed that GRNsight uploads from her computer are not being counted either due to a "do not track" setting in her browser or some anti-spyware application she has loaded.

As part of the task list for the coders for 9/14 #233 , they downloaded all of the files from our download page. I just looked and saw that the download counters seemed to have advanced for everything except source code versions: 1.0 1.0.2 1.0.4 1.0.8 which still say they haven't been downloaded at all. Given my previous comment above that said that they did have downloads recorded, there is an issue. Potentially related to #217 .

As noted on GRNsight issue 487. GRNsight is now reporting again, but GRNmap is only recording pageviews, but not times downloaded. However there is something else strange about GRNmap--The GRNmap homepage is reporting 298 views, but every other page is reporting 712. I find it extremely unlikely that each page would have the exact same number of views.

No download counters are working now. The pageview counter is also behaving strange. I get a different number for the home page, but all other pages are reporting the same exact number, so I'm thinking that something is off here.
