From the Ten Simple Rules article (#356), we can use Zenodo to create a DOI for the GRNmap software itself.

This service is integrated with GitHub and creates archives of releases with citable DOI's, which would then be referenced in our CITATION.md file and on our website.
I've assigned @dondi to try it for GRNsight first and then I'll do it for GRNmap.
Did it last night. It should be there when we next do a release.
