previewing images seems to have a size limit #1

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Open a large image with finder/Preview

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I would expect to actually see the image.  Instead, I get a corrupted mesh
of color on the screen

Please provide any additional information below.

Preview seems to be able to handle smaller (640x480) images fine. It only
has problems with larger images (2240x1680, 900K).  Is this limitation the
iPhone itself?  Is there a max size I can have the images?

Overall, I'm loving what you folk are doing!  Thanks!
