same problem too when launching MobilePreview.
I installed MobileFinder and follow the chmod steps as suggested then installed
MobilePreview.
Double-click picture from Finder then Preview opens up then close itself.

same here. FW 1.1.4. installed mobile finder, reset iphone, then installed
mobile
preview but i get an error message saying i need to install mobile finder
first. i
just did so can't understand why.
i need mobile preview to fetch mms from swirlyMMS. please help fix this problem.

1.1.3 iPhone, the same issue.
After install mobilefinder (with 1.1.3 fix) nd instll mobile previewer to read
MMS,
installer insist I need to mobilefinder first.

I got it to work!!
It is pretty simple. If you download and install using the manual method... See
the
README file in the MobilePreview_0_1_0.zip file for instructions. One you
finish
step 3 in the README do the following.
Either
Stay in SCP and view the properties of /Applications/Preview.app/Preview and
add a
check mark next to all the X's (this is for execute) and click OK.
or
logon using ssh and run this command:
chmod a+x /Applications/Preview.app/Preview
Don't forget to reboot
