Have opener open 1 of a major, then responder bid 4 of the same major with the 5332 hand of 0-6 HCP. The expectation is that lack of shape will prove a flaw in the law. This may not be possible until we can examine the opponents expected results.

Opener was given a 12-14 HCP hand. The idea being that a 15 point flat hand could open 1NT, and a shapely 15 would invite anyway. Responder was given 8 HCP. Analysis was run on whether game could be made. 3 million hands were run. Results follow.

With 5332: 46 made game. 101 did not With 5422. 35 made game, 44 did not.
With 5431. 67 made game, 45 did not.
