We need a fix so that Gecko isn't blacklisted in chromium/chrome !!!! #97

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Install geck-media player
2. Launch Chromium or Google Chrome
3. Watch in sad disbelief as nothing happens on pages with quicktime videos :(

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expect to see gecko-mediaplayer loaded in Chrome to play media inside the
browser. Instead, it has ben blacklisted and the browser won't use the plugin.

Check this link to verify:
http://src.chromium.org/viewvc/chrome?view=rev&revision=47715

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Arch Linux with gecko-mediaplayer v0.9.9.2

Please provide any additional information below.
Fix whatever you guys have to so that Chrome can have geck mediaplayer!

Interesting, but not much I can do about it unless the chrome developers work
with me to figure out what is going on.

According to http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=24507 there is
a chrome bug that crashes the browser

Also this bug appears to be a duplicate of
http://code.google.com/p/gecko-mediaplayer/issues/detail?id=64

Apparently they decided to just blacklist the plugin rather than working with
me to resolve the issue.

Perhaps you can email thestig@chromium.org and evan@chromium.org about it. I
think they are the devs involved!
