Import stops at forums! #7

Hi Kevin,

i have a question, I'm trying to import my e107 website/forums into wordpress with your plugin, and I'm having a issue, the import stops at forums import.

See image: https://dl-web.dropbox.com/get/Public/e107_import.jpg?w=5fe458d7

I have tried several times now, and the same thing happens every time.

I have set up a dedicated server just for this task at home, and have upped everything in php.ini that i can think of.

Do you have any idea what might be wrong?

I'm using your latest v1.5 plugin, with the latest wordpress and e107.

I have a DropBox account but I can't access your image... :(

Your screenshot doesn't provide me with enough information. Please activate WordPress debug mode and look at your PHP's and MySQL logs. You'll find relevant information there.

That was to illustrate where the import is stopping, but I'll try to activate the logs and post back.

Regards, Tommy

Hi again, after the import stops, if i hit F5, the import finishes successfully... But then i have to manually delete half of the entries, because it's duplicated.(might take a few weeks :-P)

I dont really know what else to do.

Now, that didn't work either, whenever i try to go in to a post or the forums, it's "not found", so this is the end for me, i have spent over 2 days with your script now, and nothing works.

Looks like either e107, WordPress or bbPress versions are not aligned with the ones the plugin was tested with. You can see in the README file the last versions I tested my plugin with.

I'll try to do the import with the versions you have in the README, and report back if i need any help.

Still stopping at "Import forum threads..." with e107 0.7.25, WordPress 3.2-RC3 and bbPress 2.0-beta-3b...

Is there any other server or wordpress tweaks that might help?

Your default PHP configuration may not allow the plugin to use lots of resources. See the "Why the import process failed, or did not end well ?" question in the FAQ: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/e107-importer/faq/
