random deep cuts #1

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. use the supplied test/cube.stl
2. use default settings

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

The output is fine except for a few, seemingly random cuts that are way too 
deep. This may be an issue in the collision-detection.
