Allow user to position and orient geometry #11

Don't require the geometry to be 
 * oriented correctly, 
 * scaled correctly (e.g. imperial vs. metric)
 * placed flat on the XY-plane (not floating in space)
 * centered around the rotational axis
 * ...
but allow the user to
 * scale
 * translate
 * rotate
the geometry
