Dear Kecheng,
Thanks for your effort in addressing all the comments.
Everything looks great :)
And your assignment for this week is passed from my point of view. Therefore, I close this issue. But I will not delete it in order to have the track of the evaluation of your assignments.
I wish you best of luck and success with your other assignments as well. Your group was an active and passionate one and I really enjoyed working with you guys.
Bests, Behnaz
I will add here Behnaz comments to have everything in the same repo
Hi Kecheng :)
It is great to hear you eventually felt comfortable using Fusion 360 and found it useful. You have tried hard for it and I am happy to see your good results.
Your explanation of vinyl cutting process is thorough and the panda result is lovely :)
Your explanation of the laser cutting process and the group work is very good. However please add the followings that are missing from your document:
The results of DPI test using the smaller laser cutter in the group work. Explanation of setting Jog, Focus and Job functions while using with the laser cutter. Other safety issues: stopping the laser cutter, opening the lid, use of fire blanket and extinguisher. Wow, lots of problems you had faced to create a drawing from your design and lots of solutions among which one eventually worked for you. Hopefully you will have lots of great lunar new year days without too much trouble in the future :D
Please fix the followings for your parametric design:
Explain how you designed the pentagon with the slots in Fusion 360. What tools did you use and how you accessed those tools? Make a screenshot from the user parameters that you created in Fusion 360 and explain them; especially it should show your parameters for kerf, material thickness and slot width. Please add the following files to your document:
SVG file of the panda (SVG file is a Scalable Vector Graphics file) .f3d file of the pentagon (F3D is Fusion 360's native 3D model format) .stl file of the 3D pentagon (.stl is the global format that describes the surface geometry of a three-dimensional object) .PDF file of the pentagon I enjoyed reading your document indeed. There were no typos, and you have explained everything with interesting examples (burnt chocolate, sand clock, etc.) and elaborated like you've got a very good understanding of the processes and it would be great for other people to use your documentation as a reference :)
What to do next:
When you fix 1-9 items listed above, please write a comment under this issue. Then, I'll go through your fixations. Bests, Behnaz
