1.7.0b1 works on OSX but 1.7.0 isn't available? #798

Is there a way to make this run? I tried downloading it manually and installing it but Firefox complains it isn't signed, and there is no way to disable that function. So it looks like the only way it can be installed is through the addon page which hides the download from osx users....
