Look at micro-optimizations for libpixman and cairo #139

Cairo is already pretty fast but we are stuck with software layers, so we need 
to make that faster.

Things to consider:

which was never implemented with VMX, or pushed upstream

This might be improved by the impending Cairo update.

So this is essentially wontfix because Mozilla is upgrading libpixman for us 
and we have issue 125 working anyway.
