Window disappears through remote viewing after a while #10435

Overview

I sometimes use KeepassXC through Parsec (https://parsec.app). Because of that, I usually run KeepassXC with the --allow-screencapture flag, to prevent having to operate blind. However, I've noticed that despite this flag, after a while of not being used, the Window won't appear anymore.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Launch the application through a remote desktop client like Parsec.
  2. Use other software for an indeterminate amount of time.
  3. Try to bring the window of the application back to the foreground.

Expected Behavior

I expect the window to appear as normal, viewable through the remote viewing software.

Actual Behavior

The window doesn't appear. The application seems to respond to keyboard input like normal: If I enter the password, it will unlock (as shown by KeePassXC-Browser).

Context

As noted above, this is through rdp-like software.

Do you have to put it in the tray before it breaks?

Meryl commented 8 months ago

No, I don't actually have to minimize the application.
