Import from 1Password - Advanced attributes labels garbled #10565

HibGut commented 5 months ago

Overview

I imported a database in .opvault format from 1Password 6 with about 500 entries. They mostly imported fine, username, password and URL show up on the General tab and the additional info that 1Password allows to keep show up on the Advanced tab.

IDK why this has to be split like this, but ok, no big deal. The bigger deal is that the names of those additional attributes become a garbled mess. This applies to both labels that were pre-existing default attributes in 1Password as well as custom added ones.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Export 1Password database as .opvault file
  2. From KeePassXC Welcome screen, click "Import from 1Password" button and import .opvault file
  3. Check Advanced tab for any entry that had extra info in 1Password

Expected Behavior

The labels of the data fields in 1Password to carry over as labels of attributes in KeePassXC Keepass 1pwd details server orig

Actual Behavior

The labels of attributes in KeePassXC become long strings of seemingly random hex numbers Keepass 1pwd details server adv Keepass adv attributes obscure

KeePassXC - 2.7.4 It's the version included in the standard Debian repository. Revision: 63b2394

You need to update to 2.7.7. This was fixed. Use flatpak distribution, ppa, or appimage.

Hmmm, this may not be fixed I just checked the pull requests. However there were changes made so please update and try the import again.

Is it possible for you to export as a 1Pux file instead of opvault?
