I have been unable to reproduce this issue. Are you able to download the sources and compile a debug version?
I can't reproduce this either. Does it happen with a newly created database?
I created a new database with name "reproduce-issue", created an entry and updated couple of times to re-produce the issue but no crash. But, still I'm facing this issue in current keepassxc database.
I use the same keepass-database file on 2 macs, one crashes as reported in this issue, one does not crash.
@robertranjan do you have the same preferences for KeePassXC on both macs?
@weslly, that is a good question.
I can reproduce the issue by toggle on/off "Preferences -> General -> Basic Settings", File Management -> "Safely save db files (...)".
I turned it on, now its not crashing.
Thanks @weslly & @varjolintu for trying to fix it.
Closing this, if it is still an issue please let us know.
I think this is still happening on 2.3.4 with Mac 10.14. To reproduce:
I did not try the Safely save db files option
, I think there might be a bug with that option when using it with cloud sync folder. When I turned on that option, I can see several copy of the files being created and sync to the folder one level up. That being said, I have no idea if that is the issue with KeePassXC or the cloud driver sync program.
Can you reproduce using the 2.4.0 snapshot for MacOS? https://snapshot.keepassxc.org/latest/KeePassXC-2.4.0-snapshot.dmg
Expected Behavior
The application should not crash when entering extended attributes for multiple entries
Current Behavior
The application crashes. The entry is not saved.

Context
I'm importing my data from 1Password and have several record types (e.g. credit cards and bank accounts) that use attributes not included as part of KeepassXC. Since the normal import just ignores them, I am entering them by hand. This bug makes it extremely annoying to do so.
