Context:

DBPTK Desktop: Ubuntu LTS 22.04
DBPTK installad as snap, following https://snapcraft.io/install/dbptk-desktop/ubuntu

Problem: The open/save dialogues show boxes instead of letters:

Hello, just tested it on Ubuntu 22.04.1 LTS using snap and it works well. You seem to be using a different Window manager than the default one? Are you using GNOME? Are you using X11 or Wayland. I'm currently using Gnome 42.4 and X11.
