Does it support Cross-modal image registration? #30

I am looking for Cross-modal image registration for some of my projects and I am wondering will it support cross-modal images.

I'm not sure what cross-modal images are - can you give an example?

@keflavich, sorry for the late reply. Cross-modal image means image taken through different sensor or device. The same image/object is taken from an RGB camera, thermal camera, MRI camera, but the output image of each camera will be a bit different in color and shape. So there comes the challenging part. But I m a bit confused. Will it solve this kind of problem efficiently using your library?

Thermal and visible aerial imagery dataset https://data.mendeley.com/datasets/ffgxxzx298/1 this is one type of example and there are many also in medical science.
