Using broadcast successfully (via http://stackoverflow.com/questions/20181323/passing-data-between-controllers-in-angular-js)
Events seem to be picked up in the controller OK, but it's not re-rendering.
Maybe stop and use http://bazalt-cms.com/ng-table/example/1 at this point?
