I'd love to try nodal to put an api on an existing DB but I couldn't figure out how to do so, nor did I see anything in the docs that would lead me to believe there is a recipe for doing so. The hard way would be to recreate migrations for the tables in a new db and then "restore" the new db from a back up of the existing one. Is that the only way? Maybe there is a way to use the old db as a seed? I was only intermediate with Rails at best so I could probably work that, but I'd like advice first.
