Hello, can you add "optional" autoupdate for floodgate feature?

Hi there, We are currently working on an pr that allows auto updating floodgate to. We do not have the amount of free time to continue on it sadly but I'll see if I can get around any time soon :) I'll let you know when it gets merged.
