Move coverdata write to end of test cycle #32

This PR is in lieu of #30 but cherry picks the coverdata write commit because we still need that functionality. If you can merge this PR we can switch our plugins back to upstream (here) :tada:

I tagged 1.3.0 and also published a new package to hex with this change.
