This method worked! But the current pink moon svg file is low quality. Need to pick a color format, look into adding those colors to JWM (also part of the ptheme global file), and get a high quality svg background.
High quality pink moon background did not appear- it was all black instead. Might have been a conky issue, though...
Backgrounds defined in the ptheme, which is chosen in Pthemes are defined in woof-code/rootfs-packages/ptheme/usr/share/ptheme/globals Backgrounds that pthemes pull from are in woof-code/rootfs-skeleton/usr/share/backgrounds
Might be simple- modify name of ptheme background variable, add svg file to backgrounds folder
