new version test2 #11

i've made a bug in svn - i'm sorry...

please chech the new iwi2200

i've made lots of changes in the code and fix a few bugs

can you check you code against what i've done and build a new release?

why do you del and add trunk/iwi2200 dirs?

developoer dont do it!( because all logs is deleted).
I remove all your chages to iwi2200.  and reverse it.

and you must write log( another person can understand) when u commit.

I cannot understand your changing in your changelog.

you must write chagenlog( detail of your editting ).

I reversed trunk/iwi2200 to revision 82. 

if you commit changes to trunk/iwi2200, u *must* checkout it  and edit (*dont 
remove
and add*) and commit.

do u undersntad? 
if u cannot understand my saying, u must join to irc and must ask me.

this happen because i used 3 diferent programs to acess to svn

i'm testing new features we should discuss:

please check the source code

- firmware loading - i fix it by removing the return when get error loading

- p_10.4.8 - see get_status dev

- jiffies - maybe 1 second = 500 jiffies?

- mbuf_free - is critical to free the memory

- rx speed - using inputPackey from the controller helps speed. the mtu is 
important
to make cache?

- 169.254.xx ip filter - this is useful when a network as a stronger signal and
refusues to connect to other network with a valid ip

- dmg installer - place the iwi2200 in /var/root and build the .pkg,.dmg - 
maybe you
like to add some text to the .pkg

please update the iwi2100 and iwi3945 in svn

i changed the code to include the .dmg installer

i'll post the bin versions in forum

whe you add a chance build a .dmg for iwi2200 and place it there

I must always commit to svn when u want to commit source code?

i'm having problems with svn authentication because i formatted mac os x. when 
i fix
that i'll use svn and do the upload.

ok i understand.
I know that older svn's binaries dont support https.
if you install svn commands supported https, it is no problem.

your iwi2200_sources is not  based on current trunk.
Would you change code base to current trunk and upload it as patch file format?

i just fixed the svn problem. if you agree i'll do the svn upload of iwi2100 
and iwi3945.

it could be a good idea to put my testing version in branches so we can discuss 
it.

if you're testing new features please do the same

we should leave trunk to stable versions only (except for iwi2100 and iwi3945)

it is no problem because i dont know about iwi2100 and iwi3945.

braches should be used in only release( meaning of release in here is putting
binarinay to forum or Downloads).

braches should not be editted ( without tiny bug fix )
you may not know that trunk is place for unstable.
(this is common rules in subversion)

if you dont do "remove and add", you should commit it to trunk (with merging 
correctly)
becaue if current trunk dont work, we can checkout older version.

I am waiting for u to merge your changing and to commit to trunk.( in iwi2200).
