Garner 2e doesn't treat.
There are different shades of meaning in general dictionaries, but they're close.
Seen any sentences in which "truthful" can't be replaced with "true"?
@kemitchell, how do you feel about "truthful"? I think there are legitimate uses for it, but it's more frequently abused, results in obfuscation, and ought to be avoided. Not sure, though, and interested in people's thoughts.
I didn't see anything from Ken Adams addressing it, and he has used it himself.
