[feat] add ability to populate list from your saved queries in TFS #16

This would help a great deal. I'm not sure how hard it is? But then you just pull in results and don't worry about rebuilding the query functionality of Azure DevOps. It would solve a problem for me too. Our team always associates two items to a commit 1) The PBI (Product Backlog Item) or the Bug, and 2) The task. The tasks change pretty frequently, but a PBI or BUG might not changed for quite some time. Thanks!

I also realize that there might be a single PBI (Product Backlog Item) that several people are working on, and thus that might not be assigned to me, so it won't show up in the list.

Anyone want to do a backlog refinement shindig for this extension with me sometime soon? I got busy and we switched to git, and now I am not sure how the extension should function in within the current vs ecosystem. Maybe I should create a discord server from r something like this?

I'm happy to jump on a call. I've been following several conversations about this sort of functionality for a while: https://developercommunity.visualstudio.com/content/problem/436887/queries-for-related-work-items.html

@KyleStay do you have a good free webex service we could use for a refinement meeting? Discord seems to allow screen sharing and voice channels now. Anything better out there?

KyleStay commented 4 years ago

@kemmis Discord is probably your best option. Google hangouts is pretty good also.

kemmis commented 4 years ago

With Hangouts you don’t have to set up a server or anything right?

@KarlZ, @KyleStay is a TFS/devops guru. We are going to work on some technical debt and then after that we will schedule a hangout to see what this feature might turn into. Sound good?

KarlZ commented 4 years ago

@kemmis Sounds good. My schedule is not too bad except for Thursday this week.
