Hello, I have some valuable feedback on the ReadAloud chrome extension. One of the best things you can add to this is the ability to ignore parentheses. Scientific publications often include parenthetical citations, often very long, and these can be very intrusive to the flow of reading and hearing. A simple checkbox that says "Ignore parentheses" would do wonders for people who read long academic journals.

Can you make it configurable to ignore reading specific characters like _ (underscore). it's really distracting

Hoping this gets some progress someday, having to hear "front underscore of underscore house" does really get to your head. Especially since it seems hyphens are already ignored maybe?
