DataServiceQueryException while registering application #24

I try to connect to a D365 online instance (version 1710 / 9.1.0.299) and am able to login, but as soon as the linqpad connector (version 1.5) reaches the step "registering application", I receive a DataServiceQueryException without any further details

Getting same exception for Dynamics CRM 365 Online.
