Index Search #11

Could you implement a search function for the index? I mean, to search the
index instead of the
whole document. I have some dictionaries in .chm format that would really
benefit from this,
because searching the whole document is too slow (I type a few letters and the
beachball appears
for a while before it will let me insert more characters again).

Thank you very much, yours is the best CHM reader for the Mac.

I think that is how index should be used anyway, so I second this.

I think Index search is still not working properly in 1.3. It is searching in
whole
document and not just Index items labels. Other tools, including Microsoft's,
search
only items texts/labels that you see in index view.

Did you choose 'Search In Index' in the menu of search field?
You can open the menu by clicking on the “magnifying glass" in the search
field.

No, I missed that. I expected search field to search what is shown in sidebar.
Its
working great now.
Perhaps you'll consider persisting sidebar and search field choices after iChm
is closed?

Thanks a lot for this great app.

Is there any way to set "Search in Index" to default? I use this much more
common
than "Search in File", and if I forgot to choose it, it will be incredibly slow
to
Search in File, the whole program may hang for a while.

@fishywang, you can open a new issue for that.
