What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Open a document call "Introduction to Design Patterns in C++ with Qt 4"
2. There's a link that links to a source file. I use copy link feature to get 
this link. 
itss://chm/cartan.cas.suffolk.edu/oopdocbook/docs/src/stl/streams/streams.cpp
3. The link doesn't link to anything, tried open link in new window. 
4. Try again in Windows, the link open the source file in the chm reader. 

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Open up the source file.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
1.4. Leopard

It seems the link uses a incorrect format without scheme, which is treated as a 
relative link so that the default 
scheme and root path is appended.

Windows can handle some weird non-standard element. It might be why it works in 
Windows.
