redirection is broken #1

the client can not resolve/redirect the portal url anymore? Jarvis a2

redirect was purposely dropped in face067. i think checking for all the methods of redirects is more trouble than convenient.

the software on the MAG boxes is based on webkit i think, so the redirects are 'browser' driven in that case.
