Try to use the normal Android pairing process before using Bluez-IME.

On the home screen press "Menu" -> "Settings" -> "Wireless & networks" ->
"Bluetooth Settings".

If the Zeemote is listed, hold on the Zeemote entry and choose "Unpair" (or
"Remove bonding").

Now click "Scan for devices", when the Zeemote shows up, click it and enter the
passkey "0000".

Then go back to Bluez-IME and see if it works.

I have seen others report that using the Zeemote tool makes the paring work:

If it does not work, let me know.
