Would it be possible to make this a 3D Gcode viewer like the GCode viewer tab? I think this would look much cooler than the 2D one.

I think it's possible but it sounds like a separate plugin by itself. Unfortunately I have been super busy lately so I won't be able to build that plugin... :(
